Conditions

  1. Players must be of amateur status (non-professional).
  2. Age criteria - 60 years or older before the date of the event.
  3. Players must reside within the state in question.
  4. Proof of residency and age may be required (driver's licence, etc).
  5. Players must be in good standing with the ASSA and the hosting venue.
  6. ASSA state championships are open to both men and women.
  7. The game is 15 reds scratch snooker (no handicaps).
  8. Match format is best of: Round robin 3 frames, quarters 3 frames, semis 5 frames and final best of 7).
  9. FAM applies max. of 4 times per instance then a foul.
  10. Minumum Dress - Plain polo or dress shirt, dress trousers and shoes. Club shirts are ok but no 8-ball shirts.
  11. $75 entry fee. Entries close 6pm on the Monday before the event.
  12. Trophies for win/rup plus cash prizes from losing quarter finalists.

Prize Money

  1. Winner - $800
  2. Runner-up - $350
  3. Losing semi-finalist - $125
  4. Losing quarter-finalist - $75

Note: Prize money based on minimum of 16 entries.

Agreement

Payment of the entry fee needs to be paid by bank transfer before the entry closing date. The appropriate bank details to pay, depending on the event selected, will be displayed and also sent by email after submitting this form.

All participants enter at own risk. Neither ASSA, the venue, the sponsors or the organisers shall be responsible for any loss, injury or misadventure arising from this tournament. I have read and understood the above, and I am conversant with the ASSA Conditions of Play and Code of Ethics. I agree to abide by any decision of the Tournament Director in relation to this tournament.
