ASSA Support
The Australian Senior Snooker Association Inc. (ASSA) is a non-profit charity for senior snooker in Australia.
How to support the ASSA:
As an incorporated association there are annual registration, accounting and insurance costs. Funds raised from entry fees do not cover all prize monies, little lone fees paid for event hire and referees.
How is that shortfall covered?
The difference is covered by donations from our management team and others to keep ASSA afloat for the good of senior snooker. Any donation will help and you can contribute any amount, no matter how small, by bank transfer to:
AUSTRALIAN SENIOR SNOOKER ASSOCIATION INC.
Bank: Bendigo Bank (Gympie)
BSB: 633-000
Account: 203140488
Our management committee includes president, treasurer, secretary, consultants, state delegates and assistants. Volunteers are most welcome.
Associate membership is free and all players, when submitting an entry form, automataically become an "associate" member. One can join as an Associate member by (a) submitting an entry-form for a senior event, or (b) joining the ASSA discussion forum.
Both certified referees and players familiar with the rules with experience as referees are most welcome to referee at our events, and also play.
Not only are senior aged players at more risk, but anyone attending an event will need proper care in emergencies like diabetic and epilyptic attacks. Qualified and experienced first aid attendants/nurses are most welome to join our committee.
For not much money we can display your banner and advertising at our events. Other areas of exposure can include our entry forms and a logo overlaid onto our video stream of the finals.
