Conditions
- Players must be of amateur status (non-professional).
- Age criteria based on the player’s age before the date of the event.
- Players must reside within the state in question.
- Proof of residency and age may be required (driver's licence, etc).
- Players must be in good standing with the ASSA and the hosting venue.
- ASSA state championships are open to both men and women.
- The game is 15 reds scratch snooker (no handicaps).
- Knockout draw - Best of 5 frames to the final best of 7 frames.
- FAM only applies on intentional miss and plain ball.
- Dress - Plain colored polo shirt, dress trousers and shoes (no 8-ball shirts). Plain colour collared long sleeve shirt required from semi-finals.
- $95 entry fee ($75 for Kedron-Wavell members) includes $10 referee bond. Entries close 6pm on the Monday before the event.
- Trophies and cash prizes (winner 40%, r/up 20%, semis 10%) based on entries.
- Losers of preliminary rounds to referee the next match. Losers failing to referee will forfeit their bond.
- Referees provided from semis on. The final and at least one semi will be live streamed.
Agreement
All participants enter at own risk. None of the ASSA, the venue, the sponsors or the organisers shall be responsible for any loss, injury or misadventure arising from this tournament. I have read and understood the above, and I am conversant with the ASSA Conditions of Play and Code of Ethics. I agree to abide by any decision of the Tournament Director in relation to this tournament.
