The dates have been set for the 2025 Over 50s, Over 60s and Over 70s events. See below for the dates and online entry forms.
2024 Queensland Over 70s Snooker Championship
The 2024 Queensland Over 70s Snooker Champion is David Berry from Westside, defeating Dennis Payne from Redcliffe 4:1. At 82 Dennis is still playing good snooker and was unlucky to lose the 4th frame. The final can be watched on YouTube.
The Australian Senior Snooker Association thanks the Kedron Wavell Snooker Club and the Brisbane City Council for making our events possible this year. This event closes our season for 2024. More to come in the new year.
Establish Senior State Championships In Your State
The ASSA aims to promote and organise state championships for seniors in all states. It costs nothing to join and the ASSA infrastructure includes everything needed for snooker event management including insurance. All that is needed is a tournament director and a venue.
